 We offer individual therapy for adults (18 and older) via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. We do not offer couples, family, or group therapy, and we do not provide medication management, crisis counseling, or court-mandated services. 


 We are a fully virtual practice based in Indiana. All sessions are conducted online through secure video platforms. Clients must be physically located in Indiana during each session per state licensing laws. 


 Therapy is provided by Brittany Baker, LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor). Brittany is a trained clinical mental health counselor in the State of Indiana, experienced in supporting adults managing anxiety, ADHD, identity exploration, and life transitions. 



Appointments are scheduled through Headway, our secure online portal. Headway also handles insurance verification, billing, and all payments.

To schedule:

  1. Click Schedule Now anywhere on this website to open the Headway booking page.
  2. Select Book virtual session.
  3. Sign in or create a Headway account and follow the prompts to enter your information.
  4. Add insurance information if applicable. Headway will guide you through benefits verification when available.
  5. Choose an available time and confirm. A confirmation email will be sent with reminders and the secure telehealth link.

Telehealth therapy is offered only for residents of Indiana. Clients must be physically located in Indiana at the time of the session.. 


 We understand that life happens. To avoid fees, please cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed sessions are billed at $100.
In the event of an emergency an exemption may be granted on a case by case basis, contact your provider for details.


 Individual sessions are approximately 53–60 minutes.
Shorter session lengths are not currently offered to ensure adequate time for meaningful therapeutic work. 


 Yes. We currently accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Aetna, and Cigna.
All billing and insurance verification are managed through Headway, our third-party billing partner.
We encourage all clients to confirm their benefits directly with their insurer or Headway before beginning therapy. 


 If your insurance denies coverage, you are responsible for the full session fee . We do not offer sliding scale rates. Please view our resource page for alternative options.


 We are unable to accept Medicaid or Medicare at this time. 


 

Q: What are your private pay rates?

  • Initial Intake (60 minutes): $225
     
  • Follow-Up Session (53 minutes): $200
     
  • No-Show or Late Cancellation: $100
     
  • Additional Documentation (FMLA, Disability, ESA Letters): $50
    Please note: additional documentation may be available with established care--a min of 6 sessions.


 Yes. You are free to discontinue therapy at any time.
Your clinician may also recommend ending or pausing treatment if your goals are met, if a higher level of care is needed, or if therapy is no longer clinically appropriate.
Referrals and resources will always be provided to support your transition. 


 

Your privacy is protected under HIPAA and applicable state laws. All sessions, communication, and records are kept confidential and securely stored through encrypted, HIPAA-compliant systems.

Confidentiality may only be broken in specific situations required by law, including:

  • If there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others
     
  • If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly, or dependent adult
     
  • If your records are subpoenaed or required by court order
     

At times, your clinician may consult with other licensed mental health or healthcare professionals to enhance treatment planning and ensure quality of care. During these consultations, your name and identifying information will not be disclosed.

If formal coordination of care with another provider (such as your primary care physician or psychiatrist) is recommended, you will be asked to sign a Release of Information (ROI) specifying what information you consent to share and with whom. No information will be shared without your written authorization.

Please note that standard email or text messages outside the secure client portal are not encrypted and may pose privacy risks; for this reason, all clinical communication should occur through the secure portal or encrypted email.


 

B Mindful Studios does not provide crisis intervention or after-hours services.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact one of the following resources:

  • Call 911 — for emergencies requiring immediate response
     
  • Call or text 988 — to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
     
  • Go to your nearest emergency department
     

You may send non-urgent messages through the client portal; your clinician will respond during regular business hours.
